A Life Not Worth Living?

I had to read this twice to be sure my eyes weren’t fooling me.

In today’s Interworld Radio News Bulletin: “Ian Smith, the former prime minister of Southern Rhodesia, today Zimbabwe, died yesterday at the age of 88. Zimbabwe’s government says Smith will not be mourned. The former leader illegally declared independence from colonial Britain in 1965 in opposition to plans for an independent Rhodesia to be ruled by a black majority. He led a white minority government until a guerrilla war forced him to agree a political settlement with nationalist groups in 1979. His party was succeeded by Robert Mugabe’s Zanu-Pf in elections in 1980.”
