CAPTCHA-ing Wasted Effort
ReCAPTCHA: a stupendous concept as a solution for harnessing an already extant work effort and applying it to correcting OCR transcription-errors that require human intervention. The elegance of the problem:solution pairing just makes my day, in the way that some people take pleasure from viewing a beautiful work of art or natural view.
