I’ve just chosen to note here some numbers I find especially suggestive. The countries are ones I happened to pick as being of interest to me for various reasons. There are some intriguing trends here, open to interpretation at your own risk. YMMV.
This little book is full of great stats, from infant mortality to vaccination rates to TV ownership to number of “stars”, refugees, and city dwellers. Pretty neat. I recommend it for reading in “Room Zero” (as Israelis number the bathroom).
