Seen on Cathay Pacific (HKK-ICN):

It’s a bit difficult to see in the photo, but the seat controls are angled slightly towards the seat they control (if you get my drift). It’s subtle yet very clear, avoiding that awkward intrusion of personal space when the person next to you messes with your controls by mistake. The seats also had foot steps (for reaching up to the overhead bins) — I like that.
Someone really thought about the usability of those seats (I didn’t like the tray table release, though.)
(The plane was a 737-300.)
From the Terms of Use of a major community news portal:
Of course, they’re covering their backs for legal reasons. But would a judge accept this as a realistic handover of responsibility to a (young) user?! “If you are under 13, please exit this website immediately.” What planet do they live on?
Seen in Hong Kong:
A nice little visual aid to remind travellers to dispose of their water bottles here in the garbage can (the arrow does point in the right direction; I took the liberty of rotating the lineup for the picture).
This takes for granted that travellers understand English, Chinese and/or common security restrictions. How might you understand this setup if you didn’t know one of those things? Here’s one possibility (on the same table as the bottles, but from the other side):
Perhaps he thought the disposal was for recycling plastic water bottles. Or maybe not.
